Template Ties per Column.lsp

Template tie leg = Column size − (cover + outer tie Ø + vertical bar Ø) on each side. Used for holding column verticals at layout/erection — matches the Excel reference: 30"×24" column, covers 3/1/2/3, #6 ties + #9 verticals → 23.244" & 14.244".

Calculated Values

Leg convention: B & D = tie legs across the width, C & E = tie legs across the depth (out-to-out of tie). Total tie length = perimeter + 2 hook extensions − bend deductions. Hook extensions use exact ASTM/PCI standard-hook table values. Inner tie links: purple in the preview — crossties get one 135° + one 90° hook; closed pair ties use the same shape as the outer tie.
